A porcelain bonbonníère
a Rozenburg eggshell porcelain bonbonnière executed at the Amphora Holland factory, 1914. Of octagonal section, the domed cover with a loop-handle, a floral decoration in bright shades of yellow, orange, red, green, mint green and brown. High 12 cm, diameter 16 cm. Painted by Samuel Schellink and executed at the Amphora Holland factory in 1914. Marked Amphora Holland, painters' mark and workordernumber 790, model 164, original retailer's label Focke & Meltzer Amsterdam. The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam has a similar bonbonniere in collection with a different floral decoration, the Princessehof Museum has a smaller version, also with a different floral decoration:http://collectie.princessehof.nl/
