T.A.C. Colenbrander, Zuid Holland, Gouda, 1912-1913
Unica vase, height 20cm ( 7 7/8 inch), glaze experiment over a decor of butterflies and prumes. Designed by Colenbrander and decorated by Van Ham, 1912-1913
Very rare vase of light brown clay with a rather psychedelic decoration, typical for Colenbrander, where the glaze is "dripping" it seems the prumes are rotting. The special matt glaze was designed by Harkink for the Zuid Holland factory. The painted mark of a Dutch flag with an H for Hoying, Harkink and Holland, painters mark W v H for Wim Van Ham. Incised number P 256.
