a very rare vase decorated with a Bird-of-Paradise
~SOLD~
An impressive vase, 11½ inches high and in perfect condition. Painted in pastel shades of blue/green, yellow, lila, light and darkbrown with a Bird-of-Paradise on one side and floral decor on the other side. Decoration is designed by Chris Lanooy ( see also our collection Zuid Holland, Gouda!). The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam has an identical vase in collection which bares the signature of Lanooy.
